1. What sort of wood is it?

Combinations of red gum, sugar gum, ironbark and box.

2. What is the mixture rate?

Even across the timbers.

3. Is it dry?

Yes, it has been split for a minimum of six (6) months and the logs have been in the yard for up to three years.

4. Where is it from?

From subdivisions and roadside clearings. No native forest timbers are used.

5. Why was the tree cut down?

NOT for the sake of firewood. The tree was cut down due to tree death, development, or safety reasons.

6. What are the sizes?

Wood is approximately 12 inches / 30 cm long by 3-8 inches / 7.5-20cm thick

7. Are there fines or dirt in it?

No, it has been filtered out. There is a small amount of free kindling in it.

8. How much is it?

$120 per cubic metre, plus delivery

9. What is a tonne/meterage comparison?

A tonne is 1.8 cubic metres of wood.

10. How long does a metre last me?

Usually two (2) weeks, depending on usage.

11. Will it fit in my fireplace?

It has been cut to fit into 99% of fireplaces/boxes.

12. Can I pick it up from your yard?

Sorry, no.

13 What are your delivery days and times?

Everyday, all day, except we don't deliver on Sundays. You can book days, or even weeks, ahead if that suits you.

14. Do you stack the wood?

Sorry, no.

15. What are the payment terms?

You must pay either credit card over the phone BEFORE delivery or have CASH on delivery. We will NOT deliver if it isn't paid for.

16. Is there a reason why you only have those types of hardwoods in the mix?

They have been chosen as their calorific value is equal to or greater than red gum (CSIRO – forestry).
